Moderation - approve/deny messages

HELLO:

I am wondering has anyone developed anything to make sure every message posted on the board is approved even if they are registered users? I am having difficult times now with people doing pretty nasty things and its getting very annoying.

I would want it that me and one other person can post without restrictions the others are driving me NUTS!

First: please do not use capitals only for your subject. I changed it, because it's too loud. We'll see your message without them as well.

Did you try enabling message moderation? It's in the settings for a forum. The help from the "Moderate Messages" option: "This setting determines whether messages are visible to users immediately after they are posted. If enabled, all messages will remain hidden until approved by a moderator." I think that is exactly what you are looking for.

OOPS I keep forgetting stimes about caps. i will start making everything uncap unless needed.

Anyways right now i do have moderagtion for unregistered users but anyone registered can post messages without them being approved..

Uhm, no. Registered users messages are moderated too. there is no setting to moderate only unregistered users messages.
Only the messages of moderators himself are coming through unmoderated.

problem is people registered messages have been getting posted on the site; if your not registered however they need to be approved thats my problem right now

yeah but thats not what the standard phorum does IMO.
please check which modules you have installed.

Only posts that are posted by moderators are posted directly, without putting them on hold. Other users, either registered or anonymous, will always have their messages moderated, unless the Phorum code was changed intentionally to behave differently.
