This module implements the reCAPTCHA mailhide API. This enables your users to let their email addresses be publicly available, without having to worry about them being harvested by spam robots, as each request for an address requires solving a CAPTCHA. Users can choose to hide their email address as usual.

Version 1.1 also hides email addresses entered by anonymous users.

To install, extract all files with pathnames to your <phorum-path>/mods/ folder.

To set up, enable in the Phorum admin control panel, and get a private/public key pair from [mailhide.recaptcha.net] then enter them on the settings page. If the keys are missing, the module will simply not function, but will not cause any errors.

Support for this module is not available. However, you may still be able to get help by posting in this thread.

Caveats:
- JavaScript is required to solve the CAPTCHA.

Update 12-jan-2008, version 1.1.2:
Fixed the incompatibility with Spam Hurdles and added some information to the info.txt file for better categorization.

I am getting this set of errors in my Control Center, because that's where the "who is online" is activated.

Is it incompatible with that module or is there something I have to do with the simple blue template to enable this module?

I know I used the right recaptcha code on both the private and the public keys, yet I still get this error.
