Re: Adding mail parameter - 15 years ago
Thanks for the hint. Too bad that I can't add an additional parameter with this hook. I added it to the code of the module "Forum Subscriptons". And voila, I received the first email in my Inbox instead my Spambox!by korsakov - Phorum Support
Re: Module: Admin Mass Email - 15 years ago
So far, I have used the module to send email to groups. But when I send emails to individual users I get the following logs: PHP notice: Array to string conversion line 79: $testuser = implode(",",$user_info); line 114: $temp_mail_data["mailmessage"] = str_replace("%$key%", $user_info[$key], $temp_mail_data["mailmessage"]); line 115: $temp_mail_by korsakov - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons

Re: Adding mail parameter - 15 years ago
According my ISP the issue could be fixed by adding the following parameter to the php mail command: mail(...,...,..., ..., "-f myPhorumEmailAddress"); No, I am not a DKIM expert.by korsakov - Phorum Support
Re: Adding mail parameter - 15 years ago
They are often getting tagged as spam since Gmail for example handles the "mailed by" URL from my ISP as domain key instead of my site URL. DomainKey-Status: bad Where could I add this field in Phorum? & How involving is it to do it system-wide in php.ini? Thanks Thomas!by korsakov - Phorum Support
Adding mail parameter - 15 years ago
I need to add a f-flag in the 5th parameter of the php mail() function in order to prevent emails sent by the system to be flagged or being treated like spam. Could I please get a recommendation? Thank you!by korsakov - Phorum Support
Re: Wanted: Forum Subscriptions Expert - 15 years ago
Here is the error message I received within my error logs: PHP Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in .../mods/forum_subscriptions/forum_subscriptions_scheduled.php on line 86 : unset($PHORUM["phorum_mod_forum_subscriptions"]["pre_run_forums_by_digest"]); : After commenting out this line it seems to work again. Emails: Addition of "Return-Path"? - 15 years ago
Many of the emails sent by my installation do land in spam folders and getting flagged. Is it possible to add a "return-path" field next to the email address under the General Settings? At this point the domain key checks used to fail. The spf records are fine.by korsakov - Phorum Support

Wanted: Forum Subscriptions Expert - 15 years ago
I removed require_once ("./mods/forum_subscriptions/db_functions.php"); and the settings page works now. Is there anybody out there who might be able to assist me with a modification of this module? I have already added the code.by korsakov - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Recent Messages Button not available.. - 15 years ago
I have a bookmark for "Recent Messages" but for new users it would be helpful to reintroduce the old drop-down menu.by korsakov - Phorum Support
Re: Module: Forum Subscriptions - 15 years ago
I just freshly installed this module to an up-to-date Phorum installation but don't get the settings page up. Somehow, the module stops after require_once ("./mods/forum_subscriptions/db_functions.php"); START of "settings.php <?php // Make sure that this script is loaded from the admin interface. if(!defined("PHORUM_ADMIN")) return; global $PHORUMby korsakov - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons

Re: Additonal fields on READ page - 15 years ago
I had to remove "#msg-6846" in order to make it work..by korsakov - Phorum Support
Re: Additonal fields on READ page - 15 years ago
For example I tried "..read.php?619,6845,6846#msg-6846,eventAttend=0,message_id=6846,user_id=435" Reading out $PHORUM['args'] results to: Array ( [0] => 619 [1] => 6845 [2] => 6846 ) the rest has been stripped off. Is there a way to avoid it? Thank you.by korsakov - Phorum Support
Additonal fields on READ page - 15 years ago
I am trying to implement a "RSVP"-feature, allowing users to select several radio button options within a threadstarter on the flat read page. I have added the additional fields to the current "Read"-link (option choice, user_id) and have jQuery trigger the reload of the page on "change". It would be handy if I could pick up these additional fields within the "Rby korsakov - Phorum Support

Re: Message Body on the List.tpl page? - 15 years ago
Good idea since it makes Phorum look more elegant, I haven't looked into including attachments - it would be nice to combine text with an image (if available), as well. In list.tpl simply use {MESSAGES->body}. /* phorum module info title: Threadstarter Body Message on List Page category: View and Layout Modules author: Korsakov desc: This mod includes the body message for a threaby korsakov - Phorum Support

xCache vs. MemCache - 15 years ago
Someone recommended using xCache, which is apparently easier to set up than Memcache, and has considerable success in speeding up site response times. (http://xcache.lighttpd.net/) What is the opinion of the Phorum Team?by korsakov - Phorum Support

Searching for more than one word? - 15 years ago

Re: Virus-/Threat-Scanning of Attachments? - 15 years ago
My site is not public. I am concerned about people who are not aware that they upload infected files. "ClamAV" seems to provide a server-side solution, I need to look into it.by korsakov - Phorum Support
Re: Virus-/Threat-Scanning of Attachments? - 15 years ago
I assume then (unless Phorum is scanning) that all current Phorum users are responsible individuals paying attention to computer hygiene. If one has not this confidence, are there any scanning solutions out there you could recommend?by korsakov - Phorum Support
