Hi Robert, Thanks for your view but what do you exactly mean with "leave the community voluntarily"? If my users are not interested in viewing specific content anymore they should be able to choose accordingly. I don't want to be stuck with manual group assignments while I also respect the restrictions for users with special needs. Admittedly, I am surprised that I am the only mem

Thanks for your explanation, David - I guess I have been lucky so far. My humble opinion is that challenging individuals deserve a special label in the database. Leaving a group ought to become a constitutional right within Phorum.

Thank you, Maurice! The problem in my case was that .htaccess used to reset the memory_limit defined in php.ini. I am wondering whether I might run into problems again in case I should continue to increase the number of folders within my Phorum installation.

I had the memory size increased to 128kB but I still get these messages in my error log, for example when I save a user setting. PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in .../include/api/forums.php on line 175 Is there a limitation within Phorum? Thanks!

You could also add to the module error logs Joe integrated within the code in order to check on specific data. I regret that he does not seem to be part of the team anymore.

I was trying to display the voting results on the list display but encountered a problem with the cache_id field within the topic poll meta data. How can I best resume/access the message with the latest cache_id? (When a user votes he can't see his vote on the list display.) Thank you!

Do you need users to access these lists or do you need them only? Just in case you might have overlooked it: Under the Admin panel you can list users depending to their group memberships.

I was wondering whether a feature is planned allowing users not only to join but also to leave groups. At this time only a group moderator can remove a user from a group.

Thomas, thanks for your clarification! Working on 5.3 I believe leadership should consider giving users a choice of being notified by email or SMS. I have noticed that this option becomes more and more popular on websites/forums.

They entered a wrong "sendmail_path"! For other Phorum users: Adding -f to the sendmail_path helps a lot!

I apologize. I just noticed that my host company created a new "php.ini" in my base folder (apparently for test purposes). Lesson learned: Execute a "System Sanity Check" once in a while! Sorry and thanks, Thomas!

I asked my host to get access to the mailserver logs. There are neither PHP error logs nor Event logs, the "subscribers"-table looks fine. I turned off "Forum Subscriptions" but till, I don't receive any emails of virtual conversations I am testing with. In which file would you start debugging?

There is not much hacking involved. Modules! "appears to be not intact" mildly meant: no email notifications are being sent. Thanks for your support!

The email notification system appears to be not intact within my installation. I turned off "admin_mass_email" and "forum subscriptions" but I haven't had any success yet. No event logs or php error logs. Where would I start debugging? Thank you!
