Nice template! I appreciate the side nav. Yes Brian these are default modules that come with phorum...I doubt many people turn these off!! Normally its not necessary to tell end users which modules are installed or enabled, but for the 'BBcode' and 'HTML' modules, it would actually be beneficial to inform the end users what code that can or can't insert in their post. Users need to know if HTML Code is allowed in a post or only Phorum Code, OR BOTH!! There also needs to be a hyperlink a user can click on explaining how to use Phorum Code...it doesn't matter how many forums use it, I still get new users trying to post HTML when I've disabled it. Most other forums seem to indicate to the end-user what is the go, can we implement this.by Trakman - 5.1 Phorum Support

as soon as I read/click on a new PM I want the 'new PM notification' message to disappear - can this be done please? atm it persists even after the message has been 'read'. also, I can't seem to be able to delete any PMs now - when I click the delete button, I get redirected to my sent items folder. It's the body, not the subject! "There has been a new message sent to a forum which you are moderating. Thanks for your comments Brian, at the moment I'm more of an out-of-the-box type guy. This is partly due to the fact that I'm not skilled with html/css/php so I find tailoring phorum to blend into my site's design difficult. It seems to be better to install a forum first then hax it so it looks nice and then tailor your site to look like your forum or is that backwards? Theby Trakman - Phorum Development

I managed to do this last night, without problems! Using FreeBSD-5.2.1 Backed up/dumped out databases CD to MySQL-3.23 dir, make deinstall locate MySQL-4.1.9 in ports, CD to dir. make install clean follow instructions in online manual at MySQL.com what's weird is if I want to run a command like 'variables'.
