I figured it out. I found the database table called phorum_banlists . The entry was in there. I just deleted the entry and that user is able to post again now.

I already tried your first reply. That didn't work. As for the second reply, I already tried the "Block User" way of undoing this as well. Logged in as admin on the board, I went to the user's account page. There is a link on there that says "Admin: Block User". We errantly banned a user, but now cannot get the system to recognize that we're trying to unban him. Can you let me know what to try? Update: This was done using the Block User module.

I'm not seeing any way to bring a thread back after hitting Hide + Replies. Our moderator accidently hit that when he meant to hit Mark Read and now we can't figure out how to get the thread back.

I've made some progress now. I was able to get back into the admin area. I was able to turn off the captcha code so I don't have to deal with that any more. I was able to log in with a new user I created. I was able to log in with my admin account after changing the password. I think the problem there was a password issue after all and not the captcha code. But now the problem I

I've created new user accounts twice now and can't even log in with either of them on the main site. I did what you suggested with making the user an admin through the database and couldn't log in the admin area with that either. Sorry I didn't get back with you on this until now. I just got busy with other stuff and I was able to do the edit I needed to do at the time through the database. Now I need to get in the admin area again and I still can't get past the security code on the admin login page. I don't think it's the user account. I need to be able to turn off that security code from the data

Here's something else about the issue. I have all cache settings set to No in the admin area. But when I go to Purge Cache and execute that, it's saying cached files were purged and showing an amount of files. Shouldn't it say there were no files cached if I have everything set to No? Now I'm seeing that it is no longer working on the admin account in Firefox either. Messages flagged as New by the New Count module are still showing as New even after they are read, until I hit CTRL-F5. Then they are no longer counting as new. I also tested Private Messages. On subsequent testing, I'm seeing that it works on my admin account in Firefox, but it's still not working on a non-admin account in Google Chrome. This is very frustrating. I thought I had it. Any further suggestions? More testing to come.

On the site I'm working on we previously had a folder structure where forums were within folders. I've now deleted those folders and only have the forums we want. That worked fine. But the folder we used to have is still showing as a breadcrumb on the forums that used to be contained within that folder. Any tips on deleting that old folder name from appearing as a breadcrumb?

Can you steer me to how I can edit the code that defines the width of the smileys popup boxes both for the subject line and body of the message? It's currently hard coded to 150px wide. I'd like to try 300px but can't figure out where that 150px width is coming from in the code. I tried adding an !important CSS bit to the css.tpl file, but that didn't work.
