Re: Module: Embed Images - 15 years ago
@Maurice : Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation, it's really appreciated. My assumption was embed images module not handling any url redirection at all which was false... I've notified the site developer and he came up with a fix in his redirection code.. Thanks again.by WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Embed Images - 15 years ago
Hi there, I've got a specific problem with this module. My phorum is a wii gaming/hacking forum and lots of people uses game tags provided by a certain site. And that site presumably uses an automatic redirector to keep the background processing of the images to minimum. And that just confuses embedded images plugin, it fails with "HTTP request failed with code 400". Here isby WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Moderated User Group - 16 years ago
Is it possible to use this module in the following way, - make each new user member of the moderated group.. - move user to an unmoderated group after approving x messages of that user Or is there any other way that I could keep a certain group of users away from the forum? Some have problems with their attitude and swearing in the forum. Upon banning they just register with a different emby WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Search Engine Friendly URL's - 16 years ago
Just to note, I've disabled this module on my forum... search result links directing user to a specific message stopped working, some users complained about pm's not working... so...by WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Search Engine Friendly URL's - 16 years ago
I've edited the php file in it's original encoding than saved it as utf-8, maybe that caused a problem... I've copied and pasted a similar code from someone else and it worked... Possibly I got a character encoding problem. Now I need to fix those urls in the main page which look like blah blah... /list/43 blah blah... /list/41 I'm not sure what exactly does html_entby WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Search Engine Friendly URL's - 16 years ago
Hmm sorry, I actually wrote my message accidentally in the first page, looked at the last message probably, seen it was in 2008.. so I though it's abandoned.. shame on me. Actually I was just staring at the str_replace function since the regex function used there not accepting utf-8 characters without all bells and whistles. I've tried below code to no avail... most probably missiby WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Search Engine Friendly URL's - 16 years ago
I have a problem with this module, my forum is in Turkish so most of the topics of course in Turkish... There are a lot of non-url friendly characters in Turkish like original character - equivalent in a url ç -> c ğ -> g ı -> i ö-> o ş-> s ü-> u their uppercase versions Ç->C Ğ->G İ->I Ö->O Ş->S Ü->U so with the sef_url module an originby WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: change name of month - 16 years ago

Re: Module: HTML in Messages - 16 years ago
I got some similar requirements like Rob Granger and did a small hack being new to php... I want only one user to post html so.... modified the default html plugin of phorum as below... foreach($data as $message_id => $message) { -->>> if ($message["user_id"]==2) <<<-- { if(isset($message["body"])) { $body = $message["body&qby WiiCrazy - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Manually create a thread - 16 years ago
I need to create some thousand or maybe more threads using a program, sounds like spamming I know but I'll do it on my phorum... Here is the options 1. Program logins and posts the items, I guess I should disable the spamhurdles first for this to succeed. 2. Insert directly into the db Which one do you suggest? In the latter I guess some modules will not have their data stored inby WiiCrazy - Phorum Integration
