Re: Module: Admin Mass Email - 18 years ago
QuoteAzumandiasI think I opened up a whole can of worms here :-) I think your right ;) Thanks for your work, I was really looking forward to this for some months! Great!by Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Admin Mass Email - 18 years ago
Nice! The %posts%-fields mighty be good to make specials to reactivate inactive user... for examples users with less than 20 Posts will get a message for a new raffle, which might be interessing. Would it be possible to add something linke this to the "send email to"-field?by Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Admin Mass Email - 18 years ago
very nice Azu! Thanks also for implementing the idea of the newsletter-newsgroup! One question: how does the customfields %phorum_mod_admin_mass_email_user_unsubscribe_setting% %phorum_mod_group_autoemail_user_unsubscribe_setting% work? Thanks Sunby Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Question: Email Addon - 18 years ago
I used to try to code a newsletter-addon a time ago but couldn't finish... if u'll give it a go, perhaps you can integrate my ideas: - in a user-group all newsletter-reciepents are registered. there they can join or leave the newslettergroup at any time. - at the register-formular there is a checkbox for new members if they want to join immediately - in a invisible form you can wby Sunbringer - Phorum Hack/Mod Requests
Re: Module: Enhanced Custom Profiles - 18 years ago
Very nice Mod! But when i put in my first custom text fields they don't appear in the control-center. Where could be my fault? I'm running version 5.2.6a. Thx Sunby Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Group Auto-Email - 18 years ago
can you build in a option to turn this feature on and off? For my solution of a newsletter this wouldn't be good. The users schould not see / read the forum, but receive the newsletter. For further updates on this module this would be important. Thanks ;) Sunby Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Birthdays - 18 years ago
After my little changes above your posts it is working well.by Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Birthdays - 18 years ago
QuoteSunbringerSomehow the Birthdays today are not shown. The Birthdays in die Future are working fine, but not the actual birthdays today. Any hints for that problem? OK, problem solved: the mod didn't recognise that 2008 is a leap year so this little hack shouldt help out: change 322 if($ubirthday["yday"] >= $jetzt["yday"]) 323 $nextBirthday =by Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons

Re: Module: Group Auto-Email - 18 years ago
I had both (language-file and group_autoemail.php) configured with utf8 and the problem was like written above. After Maurices hint i switched both zu iso-8859-1 an it works fine. Thanks again, for your help! Now i hvae my newsletter as I asked for here. I have a hidden Forum and all threads written this forum are mailed out as newsletter for anyone in the newslettergroup. Re: Module: Group Auto-Email - 18 years ago
This way doesn't work... i can't write 1000 signs and replace in this text every "umlaut". The "simple text replacement"Mod also doesn't mach mails, just the post in the forum... There musst be something configured in the mail-functions. But all my test failed. :(by Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Group Auto-Email - 18 years ago
Ok, works fine, but there is a little char-set problem... Umlaute (don't know the english expression) like ä,ö,ü, etc are in mails just , , etc. How can i fix this? (in the spoiler-mod it's the same problem) greetings Sunby Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
Re: Module: Group Auto-Email - 18 years ago
short but ... ahm... short: the german lang-file as attachment. EDIT: language file now included in the module. Thank you for your work. - Joe Curia greetings Sunby Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons

Re: How to set up Virtual Root Folders for Subdomains? - 18 years ago
I want additional Forum-Parts, but one Admin-Panel and one User-DB. The idea behind this is to offer a forum to sites, that have none. The thematically similarity of the forums offers itselve a summary of the user-DB. The customers of these managed subforums might be competitioners, but their customers aren't So I wanted to install an own forum for my customers like: customer1.doman.comby Sunbringer - Phorum Support
Re: How to set up Virtual Root Folders for Subdomains? - 18 years ago
oook! That is the information i needed ;) Thank you for your patients! The next idea is to simulate the subdomains via mod_rewrite... i'll test it for a while and report it on success ;) greetings Sunby Sunbringer - Phorum Support
Re: How to set up Virtual Root Folders for Subdomains? - 18 years ago
QuotemmakaayThe subdomain has to point at the same website as the main domain. So if you have domain1.com, then www.domain1.com can point at IP address 1.2.3.4. The subdomain other.domain.domain1 will have to point at IP address 1.2.3.4 as well. The IP is the same, but both are independent sites... the root-paths are like this /www/htdocs/domain/ /www/htdocs/subdomain/ on the same server.by Sunbringer - Phorum Support
Re: How to set up Virtual Root Folders for Subdomains? - 18 years ago
hmmm.. slightly clearer... but not fully ;) Now, for me, it looks like i can not use this mod to show a vroot-folder in my subdomain(s), when my parent-installation lies at the tld... How can I point from my subdomain to the existing Phorum Server to make it work? Let us have a look at the tooltip: QuoteFor example, if you link the host name "noobforum.yourdomain.com" to a vrooby Sunbringer - Phorum Support

How to set up Virtual Root Folders for Subdomains? - 18 years ago
Hi out there, i'm searching for a way to set up a subdomain which contains the content of a Virtual Root Forum. Unfortunalty the documentation is not meaningfull. test.domain.com should show the content of www.domain.com/forum/index.php?xxx Which is the best way to realize this? Thank you for your help Sunby Sunbringer - Phorum Support
Re: Module: Customize Mail Messages - 18 years ago
I know ts77 ;) But the options by now are: -User: new pm recieved -User: new message in a followed thread -Mod: news messages to approve -Mod: news messages not to approve -Mod: reported message no other mailoptions included... therefore my question / suggestion. greetings, Sunby Sunbringer - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons

Re: PM a group - 18 years ago
There is the opportunity to set multiple recipients for a PM, can i use e.g. the user API for adding all members of a group automaticly as recipient for a PM? Sorry, I just need some hints ts77, i am no coder. Perhaps you couldt have a look at this problem, if your time grants it. Thanks Sunby Sunbringer - Phorum Hack/Mod Requests

Re: PM a group - 18 years ago
Why custom fields? The group for newsletter-reciever already exists... it is a normal group. The problem ist to autojoin new users in this goup if on registration a checkob "receive newsletter" is activatet. Existing user ca join or leave this group already by the normal way.by Sunbringer - Phorum Hack/Mod Requests
Re: PM a group - 18 years ago
OK.. no ideas by now... what about a checkbox in the registration-menu if the new user wants to reciesve e newsletter? If he wants it he could automaticly joind the "newsletter"-Group or something which will recieve these News... and in the control center he can mange later if he wants to stay or wants to join this group? any ideas how to integrate this idea?by Sunbringer - Phorum Hack/Mod Requests
