Track Edit Changes: How to view tracked edits? - 14 years ago

Hello great gurus of Phorum, I've been using Phorum 5.2 with the General Setting "Track Edit Changes" set to "Yes, Moderator Only". My question is, how do I view these tracked edits? Hardly any customization, but a great clean install with Phorum in the primary focus. Medium amount of traffic condsidering how specific the subject matter is. (Fairfax County is located directly to the west of Washington DC)

Hey guys. I want to move a big ugly thread to a new forum, but don't want to stop the search engine click-throughs. Currently, the thread resides at /forum/read.php?2,3248 after the move, it will be at /forum/read.php?45,3248 I tried to use htaccess to redirect it but apache gets confused with the special characters ? and , I also tried more extensive mod_rewrite implementations b

I forgot to mention that I have been deleting posts to get the number back under 90, but am running out of illegitimate posts to delete. So if you look at the thread now it won't have the issue, but give it a couple hours and it will. Thanks again!

Strange. I have a thread that has become pretty ginormous. Right now it has 90 or so replies (with about 6 hidden). The problem is whenever someone posts something new to the thread it doesn't appear. The last poster shows up under the "Last Post" column but the message doesn't appear when you read the thread. The new flag appears on the thread, but doesn't get cle

As far as the slashdot-style moderation, this is exactly what I am looking for. Perhaps we could even "lift" it from SlashCode. Of course quite a bit of tweaking will have to take place to make it interoperate with phorum. Slashdot's rating system is what makes it so popular. It's the perfect way of moderating posts without outright deleting them. I don't want to

Help! Fatal SQL errors - 21 years ago

Help! I've been having small SQL errors since I upgraded to 5.0.14 from 5.0.6 which only amounted to not being able to view unapproved messages from the admin view. No biggie. Anyway, the forum had been working fine when suddenly I clicked on a thread and the reply field at the bottom of the page was replaced by: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'ORDER BY message_id ASC

This problem has been plaguing me for ages. No matter how hard I try, uploads will not work. I first tried with 5.0.6 but got a slightly different error message. A month ago I upgraded to 5.0.14 and now get "You failed to attach any files, please try again." whenever I try to attach files from a post. Even if I try a file which is not on the "file types" list I get the sam

I think he means File Uploads: from admin.php -> Global Settings. My attaching doesn't work at all. I just get Failed to Attach File and nothing in the apache error log.
