Quelqu'un a-t-il cherché à corriger les bugs dus à PHP > 7.2 ? - 3 years ago

Hello from France! I've been a happy user of Phorum for the last 20 years, and as a co-administrator of a phorum-powered forum, we are facing urgent requests from our Internet provider to use PHP versions more recent than 5.6 I'm totally PHP-illiterate, but changing some code lines to continue using Phorum looks like a reasonable way to go for the moment, as far as I am concernedby Emmanuel Bigler - Phorum Support
No problems found so far upgrading to PHP 5.6 - 10 years ago
Many thanks for the info! And thanks for sharing your experiences with PHP 7.0! Meanwhile, our Phorum 5.2 was updated to PHP 5.6.20 today (2016-04-11) and so far, so good, no issues found in Phorum. We'll probably wait until PHP 5.6 is non longer maintained to make the upgrade to PHP 7.0by Emmanuel Bigler - Phorum Support
Re: Any problems upgrading to PHP 5.6? - 10 years ago
Many thanks, Oliver, for your answer. I have noticed that 5.6 will be the last version of PHP in the 5.X series, the new version will be 7.X but I'm reluctant to jump to 7.X too soon. As far as I understand the PHP development calendar, http://php.net/supported-versions.php version 5.6 will still be updated at least for critical issues until the end of year 2018. This hopefully letby Emmanuel Bigler - Phorum Support
Any problems upgrading to PHP 5.6? - 10 years ago
Hello from France! I'm currently running Phorum 5.2.19 with PHP 5.4 and our Internet provider requires that we upgrade PHP, since apparently PHP 5.4 is no longer supported. According to this web page, http://php.net/downloads.php the latest PHP 5 version is 5.6.20 Before upgrading PHP I would like to know if there are any known issue running Phorum 5.2.19 or 5.2.20 with PHP 5.6.20by Emmanuel Bigler - Phorum Support

Re: Module: Event Logging = IPV6 IP addresses truncated to 15 chars - 11 years ago
Hello from France This is my first post here. I'm using Phorum version 5.2.19 with Event Logging version 1.0.8 I have noticed in event logs that IPV6 logged IP addresses are truncated to 15 characters like for an IPV4. IPV6 addresses show up correctly to moderators in posted messages, but not in event logging. IPV6 addresses need something like 39 characters. How can this be corrby Emmanuel Bigler - v5/v6 Modules/Add-Ons
