thanks for the quick response ! In the General Settings it tells that "This cache directory does not exist. Please create it with the proper permissions." I noted Cache Directory : "/tmp" and there is a /tmp directory on the server. But it still doesn't work. I also created a /cache directory in the root of the phorum (www.mydomain.net/phorum/cache),

Hello Thomas, I thought, too that there is a problem with the cache-directory. Which is this directory (or where is this defined) ?

I just put our phorum 5.0.6 on a new webserver. It always worked fine, but since I put it there, there is juste a white page (no error message, just nothing). But I still can access to the admin-section. Do you have any idea where this could come from? Thank you very much for your any help... Yours Fabian

As an administrator I receive an info-email when someone makes a threat. But for some reason the link in info-email doesn't bring me to the new post but to the control panel of the administration user (me). (http://www.instincto.net/forum/control.php?13,panel=messages) As the forum features are set "Moderate Messages" = disabled there is no reason to come to the control panel,

I added in the sql sentence in topusers.php the following "where posts>0" Now only the users who already sent at least one post are listed. from line 25 : $sql = "select user_id, username, posts from {$PHORUM} where posts>0 order by posts DESC LIMIT 0

You are right, I did disable cookies. I thought as sometimes people do not like cookies, better disable it. Stubid? I correct this immediately. ---- great it works again! Thank you very much !

phorum-version? 5.0.6-beta mysql-version? 3.23 In fact, what is a bit bizard: when a user is loged in and he hits the "search" button, he gets to the search page, but "log out" changed to "log in". Thank you very much for testing it if this can help you to undersand. Here is a user and the access : user : xxx password : xxxx forum : forum.mydomain.

hallo Tridus, thank you for your help. The message is 10 minutes old. What other information do you need? By the way - I don't know way but by executing a reasearche the user is loged out. Thanks for any advise, Fabian P.S. Thank you for the nice mod (actif users), very usefull and easy to install.

everything works fine with phorum, just one problem : the search-funtion doesn't give any result ("No results were found."). But I am sure that the researched word exists in a recent contribution. Where is the problem? Thank you very much for any advise. Fabian

I had no problems with insallation, but while checking the admin-tool, when I click on "Phorum Index" the following error messages come up : Thank you for any advise !
