Visiting users profiles while reading in forums seemed to work fine. just clicking the authors name (not matter if thread or list view). but i have ONE forum (id 10) that only shows a blank page when visting a author's profile. there seems to be something different with the forum configuration. any idea?!by michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Support

Oh, just had the "aha"-effect. I opened my site in FF being logged in and saw the announcements, then I opened a IE window and they were missing. i was shocked at first, but the realized i wasn't logged in;) so can only admins see the stickys or can any logged in member?! if any registered member can, then i would still like to hide the stickys:)by michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Modules / Add-Ons

I tried it so far but it still won't appear. Does it require the Smiley and BBCodule being activated too? I tried several combinations but it still did not work. I also deleted the values in the DB (which is like a "disabling") but a new installation did not make it visible.by michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Modules / Add-Ons

I installed 5.1.14 and worked with the builtin editor tools. Of course I was missing the buttons to enter the BBcode so I installed the Editor Tools 1.1.13. I copied it into the mods folder, added the lang file (by the way, where to put the help file, leave it in the same folder?!) but nothing happens. Even my configured Smileys from the Smiley Replacement Mod dissappeared. Is somethinby michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Modules / Add-Ons

phorum3to5 - attachments as files - 20 years ago
couldn't find a topic about it. importing attachments from phorum 3 to 5 works fine. but i recognized the option of saving attachments on the filesystem in the newest phorum5 version. havn't tested it yet, but what happens when turning on this option and then run the phorum3to5 import script? will it save the attachments in the database or filesystem?by michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Support

Normally I started the login from the Forum Liste Page, now I tried starting from the memberlist.php. Now I can see everzthing passed> index.php?phorum_session_v5= and it works! But it will not work when being redirected to the Forum List!by michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Support

I took a look at the "mass" of files for the chat. I would not try to put all the scripts into the phorum folder except we have too:( As far as the automatic login is concerned we could use isset($PHORUM["user"]["user_id"]) to find out if a user is logged in and then pass the user's username and password to the chat script and he will be logged iby michaelborchers - Phorum Hack/Mod Requests

my users avatars can be up to 100x100 px, i guess that's still quite big in the allusers.tpl, perhaps we should allow a certain width like 75px only when viewing it, hm... what about the forum status for the ranking module?by michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Modules / Add-Ons

here's a little example of how a gallery could look: it only features images that are uploaded for being avatars. so if you allow different types like .swf you could also see them...i guess. the pictures I uploaded will never be an avatar because they are much bigger in order to zoom them with a javascript. that's why i am still looking for a way to leave out potential aby michaelborchers - 5.1 Phorum Modules / Add-Ons
