Discussion of Phorum development. No support requests please.

Hi, I'm creating pages and allowed registered user to do more things. I found if they are not logged in, and I will redirect them to the phorum page. If I set the redir params, they also can be send back to where they were. which was great! but, there always is a better way. I want to use JavaScript to check there login status first, if not logged in, just popup a box (i'm usingby anarki - Phorum Development

I searched for a while, not helpful. Just think if there users can insert their own pics when they edit their posts, that will be convenient. Q2: is there a config setting which can change the location where attachment saves? say not to the db, but to a directory.by anarki - Phorum Support

btw, "zero" is also a stop word? the thread below this starts with "zero", and I searched it, no result.by anarki - Phorum Support

let us focus on english first. keyword "Nobody" is english, and it shows in the title of this post, you mean if we are using full text, we cannot get the result?by anarki - Phorum Support

Thanks for this fast reply. Well, this should not be complicated as you stated. I've been using different forums, they all have no problem with this issue. and I don't think all just because of their administrators did something as you said with their mysql server. let's use this thread as an example, if you search "nobody", you won't find it nor with "Nobody", however, you can find it with "search" or "work". This search function is worse with chinese words, basically, I cannot find anything except typing all the exact words.by anarki - Phorum Support

It only works when you type all the title words or author name, it has to be exact the words. How to fix it?by anarki - Phorum Support
