This is the Phorum blog template updated to run with Phorum 5.2. It looks the same. Only the minimum changes necessary to run with 5.2 have been made. Enhancements will come when the blog collection is updated.

One needs to add the stdblock.tpl if used in combination with the online users mod. Also, the changes called out in [www.phorum.org] need to be applied. It works great, I use it for static content, and just link to specific entries.

See settings.tpl. There is a variable in there to make bodies available in the list page.

Hi, I'm trying to use this template and have run into a problem with the header file. I'm using 5.2.8.
If I change anything, and I mean anything, I get this error:
I can't even change a single character. From past experience on other systems, this would result from extra white spaces in <php> tags or something like that. But I literally cannot change a single character.
Any ideas?

What do the first five lines of /tmp/tpl-blog-header-438d7265a8ae2cc42bec9a53d4ff07df.php-stage2 look like? Did you look at that file? According to the error message, that one is where the errors are coming from.

Yes you do, but it might be that you have an FTP account that is restricted to your document root. In that case you cannot reach the /tmp directory.
You can make the "cache" directory in the Phorum directory writable for the webserver (normally using chmod 777, rwxrwxrwx or whatever your FTP client calls it). After that, you can go to the admin cache settings and change the cache directory to "./cache" (mind the dot at the start!) From then on, the cache files should appear in the cache directory and you can access them.
