In new version along with phorum_db_update_messages fix you changed phorum_db_get_messages to phorum_db_get_message. Are you sure that is right? phorum_db_get_messages is used for retrieving messages from specific thread.

You is using expression $PHORUM['short_date'] . " " . $PHORUM['short_time'], may be it would better to use just $PHORUM['short_date_time'] so there will be no need for short_time at all.

Next thing that would be great to fix is enormous number of PHP warnings when messages or users don’t have rating yet. Try to run it with error_reporting=E_ALL and display_errors=On.

This module is not shown at [trac.phorum.org] as it have wrong category in info.txt - user-features instead of user_features.

No. He cannot update it unless he would post a separate package. He cannot update the first message in this thread to update the pacakage and the first message is what the script that generates the page looks at. Also, he would have told so if he had fixed it.

is this definitely abandoned? any plans for future versions (fixing bugs?)

No, its not abandoned. I've just been a bit busy with other things. That and my dev computer died. But I just finished piecing together a new one and will start working on this again soon. I have another module I am going to work on (unpublished, still in concept phase) as well, so everything may not happen immediately

EDIT: bufix release up: 0.6b.1 it works definately with 5.2.9 not sure about 5.2.8
