I have tried and tried, but haven't been able to reproduce the issue or find a reason why it might happen. So sorry, no results for you there. Please try a reinstall, clean out your rules and see if you can describe a path through which you can reproduce the issue consecutively. Only if I can reproduce or understand the issue, I can cook up a fix.

Hi Maurice.
Could you add an enhancement for the "Add a new rule" view? When there is no group defined already, it may help to show the line

The user group is: not defined yet

I know that you mentioned the word "group" at least once in your README. But it may help anyway, right? :-)

Didn't test the code yet (in a hurry), but in 1.0.5 the rule editor should show the group rule too, even if there are no groups. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm sorry but it doesn't work with the option "only active forum", I've reinstalled phorum and the module, add new rules...
The case {IF MESSAGES->user->POST_STATUS} in read.tpl can't be verified with this option but it's ok with "all forums"

I'm sorry, but I cannot act upon this report. There is too little info to deduct a possible cause. Reinstalling is never the solution (unless the initial upload was really wrong). Phorum is not Windows software ;-)

• What does the rule look like that you created?
• Did you do a counter rebuild from the settings page?

By reinstalling, I'd like to say update in fact, sorry ;)

- I've set one rule to test :

* Rule name : curieux
* Activate for : Any forum
* Activate for pages :
[] for user profile pages
[X] for message authors on the read pages
[ ] for the authenticated user on every page
* The post count for a user is defined as number of posts in the active forum
* The post count is equal to or more than : 0
* The post count is less than : 10
* Template var to fill : POST_STATUS (I've tested another name)
* HTML code to use : <b>curieux</b>

- I've done a counter rebuild
