Suggestion:

Instead of using a drop-down list to select just one banner position (Top Of Page or Bottom Of Page), perhaps we can have check boxes so that multiple positions can be selected.

Maurice, perhaps you can modify this mod to use check boxes instead of drop-down list so that multiple banner positions can be selected - those who don't know php/html might not be able to manually modify the codes to make the banner appear at different positions.

Why post the suggestion twice? I've seen it and I'll take it in consideration for when I review this module. In the meanwhile, if anybody else want to modify the module to do this, then feel free to do so and submit the updated code. This is not a module that I use myself and there are quite a few other Phorum tasks waiting that have higher priority to me, so It's not something that I'd pickup very soon

Hello!
I´m using this module to present different random banners on top of my forum and it works like a charm!!

But when i´m trying to use this code to put a hyperlink to the banners:

<a href="h**p://www.mysite.com/jarnhast.html"/>
<img src="h**p://www.mysite.com/images/banner1.jpg" width="800" height="80" alt="" />

the whole page gets hyperlinked.

Yes, i´m a noob... any tip would be nice!

Thx in advance
Rabarbervin.

simply because you are missing the closing

after the image.

I have this module installed but maybe I'm missing a trick here. I want to display google adsense code and figure I just place it in the text box on the define the banner blocks page. But this page only gives me a text input field with a max 55 characters (not enough for the google code) I must be misunderstanding its operation. Any explanations most welcome. Thanks.

This module is for handling your own banners. The google adsense code is just easier to add to the header.tpl or footer.tpl templates depending upon where you want to display it.

Hello,

I have installed this mod because I would like to use different header images, banners and html menus for different forums. I hop this is possible though I couldn't completely test it. I have already posted the problem here:
[www.phorum.org]

In the admin area I always get a security timeout when I try to save changes. Maurice said that the mod eventually isn't compatible with the new protection code. Is that true?

Did you already try out version 1.0.4 of the module?
