Blank/White Admin Screen after Install.

G'day

I have just installed Phorum for the first time onto a hosted system (MySQL 5.0.16, Php 4.4.8).
I have logged into Admin but after that the screen is blank/white with no indication of a problem.
I have looked for an error log of some description for assistance but cannot locate one.

Where can I find out what the problem is?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated to help this novice.

Phorum requires PHP 5 for starters. Most likely this is a database problem. Either the PHP build does not have MySQL support or some other fatal error is occuring.

Another option could be that the files include/admin/PhorumInputForm.php and include/admin/PhorumAdminMenu.php weren not uploaded correctly (e.g. in lower case). So check if these files are available on the server and if they have the capitals in the right places in their names.

I can not do anything about the version of PHP.
I will look for another software package.

You should look for another host. PHP 4 has been end of lifed. There will be no more patches for PHP 4.
