Edition toolbar

Hi,

I've just installed Phorum, and adapted the default theme for my needs. I would like to add a edition toolbar like here on message writing page. I have enabled Editor tools, BBcode et Smileys mods, but no results. How to do this ?

If you have enabled Editor Tools and BBCode, then you should see it. It is possible that when editing the template, you changed the name or structure of the post form in a way that the modules do not recognize.

I believe no ... I've only modified the style of #forum and #footerplug in CSS, and move page info, user info and search into a new div. Here my forum : [goo.fr.free.fr]. Maybe it's because my template directory isn't "emerald" ?

One thing that you can try is to temporarily use the stock emerald template for one of your forums (setting the template from the administration page for one of your forums). Your forum does appear to be a bit narrow, wonder if all the buttons will fit in the width.

I am seeing this error in the javascript.php file:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /mnt/102/sda/6/3/goo.fr/forum/mods/spamhurdles/defaults.php:40)

It looks like some error related to the Spam Hurdles module. Try disabling that module and if the tools show up, that is the place to look (at line 40 of the defaults.php if I read your error correctly.)

They should wrap, so that's not a problem :-)

@Nicosmos: try editing mods/spamhurdles/defaults.php. At the bottom you will find:

[code="php"]
foreach ($search as $path) {
if (file_exists("$path/flite")) {
[/code]

Change that to:

[code="php"]
foreach ($search as $path) {
if (@file_exists("$path/flite")) {
[/code]

(so add a "@" in front of "file_exists")

What also should help in this case (but I'd love to hear whether above solution works or not), is to go to the spam hurdles settings screen and saving the settings once (no changes required in the settings themselves).

Yes ... When I use Emerald, The toolbar is here and works ! I've only edited a bit header.tpl, css.tpl, config.tpl and footer.tpl ...

Thanks, but Spam Hurdles is disabled ...

Edit> Hhm, the problem seems to become from French. When I set the forum in English, the bar appears. And when I choose French, it disappears ... I don't know how to correct that.

I am still seeing the error from the spam hurdles mod. Could you:

1. Implement Maurice's fix
2. Enable the spam hurdles mod, then disable it again to make sure no hooks are still flagged.

No change ... but the problem seems to become really from the French version of something (see my Edit higher) ...
And if I delete french.php files of bbcode, edition toolbar and smileys mods, also no change. A encode/charset problem ? I believe all is in utf-8.

I think I found the problem. It's the smileys module that is generating the warning for you. Please delete the first line from mods/smileys/smileys_editor_tools.js.php. This line is not needed anymore in the code.
