Need help to integrate Phorum into phpld

Anyone have any ideas how to integrate phorum into phpld (phplinkdirectory v.3.3)? I have tried to the session hook restore but do not know how to sync the user data in phorum using the api save.....need help...thanks..detailed instructions is appreciated as I'm don't have a lot of knowledge on coding...

Take a look at my External Authentication module. I have a decent guide there and you can use the base plugin to build your own plugin for phpld or simply use the entire thing as an example for your own module.

I have install your mod and use the base_plugin as an example. is it only the file "hook_user_session_restore.php" that is needed to modify for my application?

Most likely that will be the only file you need to worry about. The others allow further options and enhancements but I don't think you will need those from what you have described so far.

Hi Joe, I'm really not up to it to modify the file..... would you be able to do it for me if I give you my FTP and admin access to my phpld v3.3 website?

It this is successful, I can recommend phorum to the phpld support forum, I'm sure there are a lot of phpld owners interested in integrating a forum to their directory using phpld user sign in....

I would be happy to take this on, but I am in the middle of a couple of projects and a number of work and church projects. It will be at least a month before I can focus on this. I may need a break for my other work and be able to put spend some evening on it, but I can't promise anything. If you are happy waiting, please PM me the access info and I will get to it when I can. Sorry I can't give you more than that.
