Need to login from my site to phorum

Hi all,

I am newbie here. I have a website where users logs in, we have integrated phorum as a part of the website.When users log into my site and go to forum, they should be able to post the topic.Only one registration for both the site and the forum.I searched few threads here but got confused.Iam not techie, but my team can handle it.Please let me know your thoughts.Once users log into my site, they should be able to post the forum without again registering in forum.

For this task, the user_session_restore hook is the most appropriate way to handle this. If you search for that, then you will find various examples. Also, take a look at the external authentication module. That should give you some useful pointers.
