5.2.7 you mean? That would be the version that I wrote during the MySQL conference and that got lost in a harddisk accident :-( In other words: there is no 5.2 compatible embed phorum currently. After the conf I've been quite busy with other tasks and haven't been able to rework the new version.

D'oh!
I was just about to start 5.1 -> 5.2 migration but it seems that I'll have to postpone that.
Can you give any estimation how soon do you have time to write it again?
Best regards

Currently there is a lot of stress on the non-Phorum coding department (for my day / night job), at least till the end of august. Therefore I see no options to work on this real soon. Sorry for that.

Good luck with your other responsibilities. I am looking forward to when you are able to begin work on this again, but I completely understand your time constraints. I have an existing YACS install that I would like to integrate with Phorum. I've been annoyed at the YACS forum for about two years now and I can certainly wait another couple months or so to have a nice, friendly forum in use.
Take care,

Hi
We were wondering if you have had any time to work with 5.2 compatible embed phorum? We fully understand that you have other responsibilities and limited amount of time and energy, so we are sorry to put pressure on you. We are just more than curious about this as we are at the moment using 5.1.x and it's slowly but indisputably building up to be a bottleneck in our production site. We are also interested in making a phorum module to Midgard-framework we are using but as it is, we cannot proceed with this plan either.

Well, I am very sorry, but I am at least occupied up to the beginning of november for my day job project. After that, I will first be doing some other urgent Phorum coding. After that, integration is my first priority and I planned to do some modules and write some extensive documentation on the matter of various integration patterns.
I would love to be working on this right this moment, but it is really impossible for now :(

Hi
Any news or estimates about this 5.2. compatible embed phorum? It would be really great to have somekind of estimation about when this would really be ready or if there is no plan at all to make this happen anytime soon. We understand other responsibilities, and we are again sorry to put some pressure, but we would really love to know if we should start to check out some other solutions, eg. other ways of integrating phorum or some alternative forum software to our system (which would off course be a pity as we have quite liked the phorum software and intented to make it a part of the framework we are using).

There are plans for sure, but a lot of strain has gone into my day job. The project went live though and I'm slowly picking up on some long due Phorum projects. Embedding is one of the high priority projects on my list, but I must admit that there is quite a big project for Phorum that has to be finished first. Since Phorum is all about spare time work, giving an estimate about when things can be finished is unfortunately virtually impossible. But with finishing up the project at work, I can defenitely state that the odds have changed quite a bit.
