I'm using the spam hurdles module and I get this error:

Warning: Incompatible template files detected

Not all template files contain the template hook {HOOK "tpl_editor_before_textarea"} that is required for the posting protection to work. If your Phorum site is using the following template files, then check them against the template files in the Phorum distribution and add the required hook code to them:
./templates/mobile/posting.tpl from the Phorum Mobile Template 0.2 template

Andy from Switzerland noticed that the Mobile Template shows a wrong date for "Last post" when there isn't any post. It seems that a null value is interpreted as 1-1-1970...

In order for the template to work with Russian language it requires the following

Templates go into the Templates directory, not the Mods directory.

I uploaded the 'Mobile' folder into my 'Mods' directory but when I go to my Modules page, I get the following error message:

"Warning: possible module "mobile" found, but no module information is available for that module."

What am I doing wrong.....?

I solved the problem by putting:
header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8');
after:

in the mods/mod_mobile/mod_mobile.php file.

Would it be possible to include it in the production version?

I had a problem with special Norwegian characters after upgrade of Phorum. I solved the problem by adding the statement:

$PHORUM['DATA']['CHARSET'] = "utf-8";

in the Language file. However, I still have the problem in the mobile Version. I tried to add the same statement to the Language file I made and stored in /mods/mod_mobil/lang/, but I still have the problem.

Any idea how I can set utf-8 for the mobile template?

I have two issues when I change the template to mobile on the FORUM/FOLDER admin panel.

The following error message is caused by /include/ajax/client.js.php.

Uncaught ReferenceError: Phorum is not defined
Setup the Phorum.Ajax namespace if it has not yet been setup.

if (Phorum.Ajax === undefined) Phorum.Ajax = {};

If I infuse some extra javascript at the end of footer.tpl I get these results:

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

I believe these two issues are related to each other. How could I solve this issue?

In the next release of Phorum, there will be a new hook in the Spam Hurdles module to accommodate for this: sh_pm_editor_before_textarea. When a template is written that omits sh_pm_editor_before_textarea for some reason, then the template can use sh_pm_editor_before_textarea instead. That will add all data that is required by Spam Hurdles, but it won't show any other clutter that the standard hook might add.

I think the hook was left out to avoid too much clutter in the output, like the editor tools.

The moderation problem was a conflict with Spam Hurdles (version 2.0.2)

Inserting {HOOK "tpl_editor_before_textarea"}
in posting.php fixed it.

{LANG->Message}:

{HOOK "tpl_editor_before_textarea"}

I found the conflict with the Event Logging Module and then Spam Hurdles (Settings) suggested the fix.

Thanks for a great module/template. I now have a few ecstatic users.

I installed the module and had it reading messages when testing with Firefox and User Agent Switcher to mimic an iPhone. I was able to post a message, however I received an announcement that the forum was moderated and my message would have to be approved. Switching back to the Firefox user agent I could see the unapproved message. The forum itself is not moderated, I can post to it with the Firefox agent.

I'm not sure if this is a module problem or a template problem. The announcement came from the template.

Ive had a bit of a play with the mobile template to include a small logo and chage of colours.
found here Oviously only on a mobile device. I only have an Android device to test with atm and would appreciate other phone users giving some feedback as to how it looks.
Just one question where do I find the code to change the search and PM boxes at the bottom I dont seem to see it.

The phorum variable {URL->INDEX} does not return what it is supposed to on the read.tpl and pm.tpl pages.

EDIT: Of course, the simple fix was to replace the variable with a simple "index.php"

I got some error logs:
PHP notice: Undefined index: PM : Have I accidentally removed {LANG->PM} from the language file?
I also received: Undefined index: raw_last_post
The template loads but it does not seem to connect with the "index" hook for example.
(I need to reveal: I don't own a smartphone.)

That means that you have failed to keep modules and templates apart. You're in the template forum here, so that should be a pretty good hint that you should not drop the code that you download here in the modules folder.

Are you aware that the download links are not shown when viewing this page from an iPhone? I had to change the browser ID to IE8 so that I could download the mod.
