PHPBB to Phorum

Is is possible in some way to import all the messages and users from an existing to PhpBB forum to Phorum? If yes, how?

WHY??

I know there is one for UBB to Phorum, but it shouldn't be very difficult to write a script like that (that is if it's not already out there).

Why would you want to shift from PHPBB to Phorum?

If you have to ask the question you haven't been there (with PHPBB).

Both these code sets come under the same category but they are markedly different when it comes to supplying the bandwidth and fitting with the style of the discussions.

PHPBB is begining to stretch my bank balance with data transfers at over 2 gb in under 3 weeks and 700+ registered users.

IF I had known what I know now I wouldn't have gone there <shrug>

I know of others in the same boat .. so any one got an alternative to a datadump and a massive find and replace time waster?
