private messages to user

i worked out a script that allows yout to send private messages to other users.
since i wasn't able yet to make it a real looking hack for phorum,
i wonder if anybody already did so.

is it possible to send private messages in the new phorum 5,
will it be available for phorum 3 too?!

its possible in phorum5 and it won't be done for phorum3.
phorum3 will not get any further enhancements.
