Anti spam (forum) protection?

Is there a anti spam for the phorum, so that no one can fill the forum
with 100x of messages by an automatic script?
If not, a function must be included in the only post.php, right ?
A protection with cookies, i think won't help, so the ip address should be stored in a file / database (database should be faster?)

As i have written in anoother thread, i am not exp. with phorum.
Is there already a spam protection in phorum?
I have the "localhost" problem, i think i need to fix this first....

i dont' think so, but it kills all dublicate posts when you double click.
