Github doesn't seem to provide any options to get notifications about new commits in watched repositories and there is only one "service hook" which can send to exactly one email address.
And from the recent discussion in the forums there would be interest in a mail notification about new commits.
Therefore I've setup a mailinglist where you can subscribe if you are interested in the commits:
