Sorry, I made the assumption that you had updated to the latest version before telling you to upload that one file. 5.2.1.01 had a lot of changes in almost every file, so yes, definitely upload the entire new version.

If I choose to only send New Topics and not Replies, will Replies still be available in the daily and weekly digests?
I am running into an issue with people who post, and then want to edit their post within the alotted time. I thought maybe removing the Replies portion would help some.
But I would still like the Replies to show up for users who have selected the Weekly or Daily digest.
My other thought was to edit the template to eliminate the option to choose 'Email right away' and limit my users to daily or weekly digests only.
I'm rambling in though here..... (think think think think)

Hi Joe/All
Unfortunately I can't get this module working. I have installed it, set it up for a user to subscribe to all posts in all forums, getting immediate emails when there is a new post (I haven't got on to digest emails yet), but no emails are sent.
I have checked in event logging for a post and this is what I get for the Forum Subscription Module (the last entry just says: Email accepted by sending server:)

When the same user chooses to get email notifications for individual threads an email is sent through on new posts. So I am not sure why i haven't been able to get this module working.
Any help in doing so would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Nick

Nick, it seems like your setup is correct as the final debug message shows that the server's mail program accepted the email without error. Have you checked that the message is not being blocked as spam? Beyond that, you would need to look into the mail program's logs if possible.
As for your other question about setting up a cronjob to run the daily/weekly digests, I need to know some basics about your server setup. Are you on a hosted service or is this your own server? If hosted, you will need to see if your provider offers cronjobs, cron, crontab, scheduled scripts, etc. If you are running your own server, you should be able to use shell access to add a cronjob to your server. Let me know which applies and I can give you more specific information.

Thanks for your swift response Joe.
I am using an email address for a domain hosted by hostpapa.
I don't think the issue with non receipt of emails is a spam issue as have tried it with a number of different email addresses. So I will look to see if there is a log for email activity on the server.
