Module: Twitter new posts

Thanks for the fast reply. What exactly do you mean by configuring forums from which posts are twittered?

I've enabled the event log module, and this is what i've received after i placed a test-entry:

Did you look at the module settings? The bottom section lists the forums and you've got to set a checkbox for each forum from which you want posts to be twittered.

Hi Thomas,

I did; all checkboxes fot the six forums are on. It seems as is the function "mod_twitter_posts" isn't called at all?

I cant print_r anything within this function. (note: i'm not a programmer, this is my way for checking if a function is called).

Since August 2010 the way to authenticate with Twitter has changed. Is the current registration way as explained in the Readme still workable, or do we need to hack the code?

Did you check my updated version at all?

What is mod_twitter_url function for? I can't find where I can set $PHORUM["mod_twitter"]["username"].

Hey guys! I just installed this mod on my forum (I'm using version 5.2) and I am trying to figure out exactly what this mod is for.

If I understand correctly, it will automatically tweet new posts to twitter right?

If so that's great because that's what I want. However, I notice that it has never worked yet. I have double and triple checked the username and password and they are correct. Any thoughts? I'd love to get this working. Thanks, Dave

I have it set to post new posts only.

I am using version 1.0.1

when reading this thread you should have found that this version won't work anymore. Try my updated version with the new auth mechanisms.
