C'mon man... bumping is quite irratating behavior on forums.
Especially after no time at all. You posted this yesterday!

About the question: no idea. I've never seen such thing and based on the report there is nothing that I can think of that would fix it. How are you testing this? What do you see?

Sorry for bumping... i'm nervious. :S

Well... I'm not testing it, cause don't know who could I test apart of just enabling the mod. Every registered user appears, just one admin and one normal user don't (as far as i know)

What I see is that, user is posting, but don't appear on the ONLINE USERS board.

About Tomas recommendation, users can't SET they appearance, because I disabled the option from the CONTROL CENTER.

Thanks.

Has this been disabled from the beginning? For the sake of thoroughness you may want to reenable it and check your admin account to see if it is set to hide online appearance. It may be that disabling the option to hide online appearance is not checked by the module.

EDIT: In fact after a quick read through the module code, it appears that it does only check the user table for the user's personal setting and not the general settings to see if the hide option is enabled or not. Those users are then listed as guests. Are you able to see if there are extra guests logged in when your admin and other user are on?

That was it! I renabled the option again and asked the admin to look at it and it was unchecked. Well, it was easy, but is there a way to see who has it unchecked? In the DB maybe?

Maybe that is this way, because IIRC, there is no general settings for disabling this privacy option. There is only an option to let users hide their email addresses from the public.

How did you disable the option Christian?
Hacked the control center template to not show the option?

In the database, it is the field hide_activity in the users table, which can be set to 1 to indicate "Yes, hide".

Sorry Maurice, I just made the assumption (never a good thing) that such a setting was available. After another quick read (this time through the general settings) I did not see any built in way to disable the privacy option.

This module still have a bug for me where if I set it to Administrator viewable only and change a few other settings that after a couple of hours it reverse back to module's default setting.
I have no idea why it does that but it reproducable for me every time however it take a couple of hours before it would happen.

Bill

I'm having the same problem (with it reverting to default settings), though I don't have the option to make it admin viewable only enabled. Every now and then it just resets entirely. Settings go back to defaults, and things like the highest user count are lost.
