Module: Jumpmenu

I personally like to validate in order to be on the safe side if I don't have the time to check out all browsers.

I checked common.php, it seems that a tweak would entail more than I expected. Could you maybe give me another hint? My intent is not to load the rather big jumpmenu (at least in my case) if it is not necessary. Thanks!!

Validation does not ensure browser compatibility.

Hint: you'd need to modify $PHORUM['mods'] and $PHORUM['hooks'] to remove references to the jumpmenu module from those arrays.

Just a minor issue: Whenever this module is called I get many of these messages ("Error in parsing value for 'width'. Declaration dropped.") in Firebug. Am I too obsessive?

I released version 1.1.9 of the module. This version adds vroot compatibility....
Hi Maurice, How can I display VROOT folders on the Jumpmenu? Thank you!

Ehh... the idea of a vroot is that it is a separate virtual Phorum. You don't show vroots in the jumpmenu therefore. The only vroot that you show, is the starting folder of the jumpmenu.

I asked since Joe's new "Forum Subscription" module requires to set a folder to "vroot" in order to get the option to subscribe to all forums within this folder. Thank you.

korsakov, I have altered my mod to make your vroot unnecessary, sorry for causing any confusion.

I am interested in this module, but even when I go to Maurice's test forum, it doesn't work. Could this have something to do with my browser?

Hi Maurice,

I published a new version of my German Language Files Package which includes also translations for you module in two character sets iso-8859-1 and utf-8.

Please add the attached language files to the next release of your module and remove maybe existing old style files like german.php oder german-sie.php. Thanks!

Regards
Oliver
