Oh, don't worry. I don't think that you had abusive application in mind. And I wouldn't really care if you would ;-) The main issue is that we provide forum software and forums are about multi-directional communication. I can see ways in which post-only permission could make a useful system and I have no problem with implementing that, as long as it does not have too much impact on the core functionality of Phorum.

Somehow the CSS rules for visited links on your Jumpmenu don't seem to work. I couldn't get it to work, as well. It would be very helpful if users are aware of the active parent folder as they go deeper into the menu. Do you know a remedy?

I just was wondering how difficult it would be to leave folders activated after jumping to the next menu during the selection process in the JumpMenu. In case you have three or four folder levels it becomes challenging to remember where you are coming from. Thanks for your consideration!

You mean without clicking on a menu item? By default all menus that you traverse should be kept visible. Do menus disappear for you while traversing? If not, then try to rephrase your requirement, because I'm not sure that I fully understand what you mean here.

He may be referring to the fact that when you browse deeper in the list, the highlight color is only applied to the item which currently has the mouse hovering over it. For example, on this forum, when using the jumpmenu above, first the Official Forums folder is highlighted, then the 5.2 Phorum Support forum is highlighted and the Official Forums folder is no longer highlighted. By keeping the highlight color in each tier on the currently "selected" folder, it would be a little clearer under which folders your currently highlighted item resides.

Joe, thank you for reading my mind! Sorry for not being clear enough. It'd be great if this could be implemented. Thanks in advance!

A french.php for this module.
Manu.

mmakaay: removed the attachment. The translation is now part of the module package.

Maurice, you can see under "Forum" a nice implementation for a Jumpmenu, ensuring that the visitor is aware of the directory layer while selecting an item. I know you had put it on your list...

I released version 1.1.9 of the module. This version adds vroot compatibility, contributed translations are added to the module package and when descending folders in the jumpmenu, previously selected folder items will stay highlighted so the user can see which path he followed.

Edit: I installed the new jumpmenu on this site. You can see the jumpmenu's new behavior when hovering over the "COMMUNITY" menu item.
