Thanks for helping so quickly Maurice. I'm glad it was a relatively easy fix.

Module: Easy Color Scheme Manager v5.2.1.07 - bug fixes
July 29, 2008 11:03AM
I have finished v5.2.1.07 with these changes:

- Fixed a bug which required disabling template caching.

- Fixed a bug which would possibly cause the settings page to not load the first time this module was setup.

- Fixed a bug which caused an error when trying to export color settings to a file.

- Removed further PHP warnings.

- Confirmed compatibility with Phorum 5.2.8.

Excuse me, but I believe that there is a problem with this module. I just downloaded it and when I tried to change the settings, there is an error message, shown below:
Quote

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in (my directory here, which I am not going to reveal)/forum/mods/easy_colorscheme/settings.php on line 1344
It would help a LOT if you could fix this problem. Or maybe I am downloading it wrong? I put it in the mod folder just like all the other mods I downloaded. Please help! Thanks in advance!

My guess is that you are not using PHP 5. I am going to just give in and assume that no one has upgraded to PHP 5. Please redownload the mod and it should work for you now.

Ok NOW it doesn't mess up the forum but when I try to change the settings they do not change on the forum. I don't know why but could you please help me some more? Thanks!

When you changed the settings, did you save them as a new color scheme? Did you then apply that color scheme to all forums?

If so, another thing to try is to go to the "Cache Settings" on the left and disable the caching stylesheet data. Please let me know if this fixes the problem as I thought I had the caching issue fixed.

No, it still doesn't work. This time I used the "Tabbed_Emerald_Template_5.2.1.00_Default_Colors" color scheme and overwrote the data and I set the bg color to #CCCCCC but the background color is still default: #FFFFFF

What am I doing wrong?

Help please?

Sorry, posted this in the wrong thread earlier:

I see that you have Phorum embedded within your own site. It may be that this is causing a problem for the mod as the overall body of the page may be set in your site's framework. Does it work if the forum is viewed outside of your site's framework?

I don't know...but it doesn't really matter anyway. I changed my theme color to green to match phorum. Thanks!
