Hello,
first I want to thank all developers for keeping Phorum alive. We (a Works Council) are using it since nearly 20 years.
Due to the many helpful post here I was able to install the 5.3-Version of Phorum and transfer all (!) old messages / attachments / user from 5.1.25 to 5.3-dev and running a up to date php version.
The only thing I didn't manage was updating the message list, so the the name of the last poster is visible (See attached file).
Is there a simple way to re-create the entry (no problem, if not, but would be nice).
Best regards from Nürnberg,
Peter

There are settings in the Admin / General / "User Settings" that affect what the user may change.
Check the users "Control Center" that may affect sort order.
Also rebuild the Admin / Data Integrity /

Hello,
runing some Database integrity checks solved the problem. "Rebuild thread info meta data" and "Rebuild display names" did it.
Just an info: "Rebuild search data" leads to an error message, but editing the command to
INSERT INTO forum_search (message_id, search_text, forum_id)
SELECT message_id, concat_ws(' | ',author, subject, body), forum_id
FROM forum_messages
helped.
Thank you for your support,
Peter
