Running getimagesize() on the image data failed

In my current Phorum installation, I now saw this error message: "Running getimagesize() on the image data failed".

Is my Ubuntu 16.04 installation missing some tool that might be used by getimagesize() or is getimagesize() deprecated in PHP 7.0?

you are using an image on a dropbox account. Do you get the same error also for local images?

Then getimagesize() will surely always fail. Although it is rather weird that Dropbox encapsulates the .png URI request into a webpage. Anyway ...
