I can't see that there is a module for chat so I thought to bring your attention to Flash Chat. It can be integrated quite easily from reading this topic: [

The above links the registration and membership so that only logged in forum users can use the Flash Chat. I have it installed on my site, with the links and users visible at all times (top right).
Cost of the pretty impressive Flash Chat is only $5!
