phorum and xoops

hello, I'm new here.
I searched for these arguments in the forum but I didn't find replies.
I'm using xoops for my internet site, I'd like to use phorum and to link it to my xoops-site.
I have two questions:
1. how can I use one only registration for both?
2. is it possible to display in a block of xoops the last 5-10 topics in the "phorum"?

Yes. But you have to deside if Phorum or Xoops is the master app. In eiher case there isn't anything out of the box for you.

Depends how easy it is to display such infoprmation in Xoop.

You can search for addon scripts for Phorum show last messages and modify them to be used with Xoops.
