Hoi Maurice.
I understand what you tell me and I have some friends from Belgium who swear that they will never ever talk or write in the f***ing other optional language.
But in fact, I see only one empty forum in loikiloik's sample link.
And he asked:
Isn't life difficult enough (esp. for the »timber end«)? ;)
Regards, Ulf Dunkel

For me, a forum is a forum but cannot be divided into parts. Therefore, Thomas' first response was rather clear: one Dutch (or rather Vlaams) forum, one French forum, and loikiloik is done. Each single forum's language can be adjusted in general - even for anonymous.Quote
- How is it possible to switch the language of the forum when you are in the french or dutch part of the forum? (I can do it when the user is logged but never for anonymous users)
Isn't life difficult enough (esp. for the »timber end«)? ;)
Regards, Ulf Dunkel

Yes, I agree for 100%. We all proposed to use two different forums. I'm just trying to explain why two forums might not be what he was looking for :)

The same could be true in Canada where there are laws that enforce both French and English are used on things like product packaging.
