putting AIM Screen name into user profiles

ok I have been having trouble trying to edit the porfile templet and such to make it possible to add your AIM screen name into your profile on my message board so everyone one can view it. Anyone got the needed coding and such for me to use. Or can tell me how to go about doing this so it will work?

You need to add a field for it in the Custom Profile Fields in the admin. After that, you can basically copy the real_name entries in profile.tpl and cc_usersettings.tpl, which will let the user change the setting and let other users see it.

Do it just like the real_name field.
