Hi ayshe,

try to access the image in the files section of cc is it visible?
If, so tell me.

If not:
Sometimes, I don't know why IE messes up the upload (nothing to do with this hack, though) and there is a 0 byte file, which will still be in the list of files...

Hi Pat,
sorry, but I don't understand you. You suggest me to access the image WHERE?

Mozilla doesn't show it either.

you uploaded the image in the files-section of the controlcenter, right?
then try to open it in this section.

it was about the upload which might be messed up, not showing it.

OK, I looked up the controlcenter, finding the usual php files there - nothing else.
I looked up the my_pic folder in the cache directory: no pictures are saved there either.
I did a surch on the file name of the uploaded pic in the complete phorum directory: no result.

I probably am still misunderstanding you. Please give me another hint.

how did you upload the pics?
there is a section "my files" in the controlcenter, the section where you uploaded the pics.

Excactly, this is where I upload the pic as a registered user. The upload works, I can preview the picture right there.
When in the next step the picture is added to the profile (edit my profile) it is not displayed in the profile (view my profile) though.

Hi ayshe,

GD-seems to be alright, I've doubble-checked my instructions and they seem to be correct.

Maybe you've made a mistake with cut&paste. Attached you'll find the modified phorum-files please overwrite the existing originals in the apropriate folders and see if it works.

Hi Pat,

things are a bit miraculous now. I am using your files instead of mine, but the pic is still not displayed.
My example pic's properties in the browser are:
[localhost]

Is this path in the props actually right? I mean, it's structure?

Edit:
Let's resume the case: It worked with your earlier version, the one without the pic control. Since the picprocessor is running, the pictures are shown in the data section, yet not in the profile.
I do have a subfolder called "my_pic" in the cache folder, but no data is saved in it.
The browsers try to show the picture, but can't because the path seems to be wrong.
My assumption: The path function in the picProcessor isn't working correctly.
Does it work in your environment without any problems?

Regards,
Ayshe
