Integrating user login/session

Hi All,

I'm new to phorum and would like to integrate it into my existing web site. I already manage the login process to my site and would like to avoid having users register and login twice (once for my site and then for phorum).

I'd like to modify my login and registration processes so that they "pre-fill/set" the phorum required db fields and session variables.

Has anyone had any success in accomplishing this or can someone possibly direct me to some documentation that might help me out?
