Showing user group in read.tpl

I'm a bit new to this PHP coding, and I don't understand how I am supposed to dig up the group from the user's database.

I tried {Groups->groupname}, but it didn't work... Can someone point me in the right direction? I've never seen this kind of coding before.

Thanks!

I'm not sure that the grouplist a user belongs to is normally available in read.tpl. You could make it available with a fairly straightforward module though, and then display it.

Alright.. I'll look at the module faqs... I don't know how to start a module and it looks real real confusing... haha. But then again, I want to contribute back to this phorum. Great support and work. =]

This is awesome, I've read the how-to-module and i'm literally awed. I'm going to have to learn from examples and perhaps i can make the world's most useless mod =]

Tridus already wrote that. There is an example module in the modules forum.
