latvian translation for v. 5.0.13

maybe You could tell me how to use one of baltic encodings, in order to see all letters correctly?

hi,
i have defined correct charset in meta tags. it's windows-1257. it's used in most cases when we use latvian or lithuanian languages. but if it doesn't work in your case you can alternatively try iso-8859-13, because the format seems the same. but if doesn't work either, you can always set encoding using php function header() with appropriate content. it's working for 100%. good luck :)

meta tags you can insert in the language file itself. like:
$PHORUM["DATA"]['LANG_META']="<META content=\"text/html; charset=windows-1257\" http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" />";

i am not sure if it reallly works, but i had no problems.
