I got it working flawlessly. But seems it only work for a logged-on user? The link doesn't show up after the user logged-off.

yeah it switches the user-setting so it can only work for logged-on users.

strange mistake after changing template layout
September 05, 2004 03:58PM
Hi,

after messing around with the layout of my templates I lost the functionality of this mod.

I can only switch once (from normal to threaded) now and are trapped with threaded somehow - no getting back to normal.

Any idea what that's all about?

thanx

sounds like a corrupt link. check the way you built in the link.

rewrited you mod
flat [forums.vl.ru]

tree [forums.vl.ru]

-> not logged (not registered) guests can switch tree/flat, setting saved in cookies.

usually readers more than writers ;)

Hello,

That sounds exactly as what I need! Could you please post your module here?

depends on where you added the button for this.
probably you only added this to one template but not the one for the other view.

ok, I found the problem, there is a template read.tpl for the flat view and another template read_threads.tlp for the threaded view.

thanks

it would really help if there was a way for this module to work without the user being logged in, has anyone gotten it working that way or gotten a hold of the person who did?
