mod: upload attachments in directory, not db

this seems to be very interesting, but where is the mod and how to install it (for 5.1.25)?

Like I wrote: it is for 5.2. There is no way this is ever going to work on a 5.1 install. If you really need this feature (do you?), then I would advice to make the jump to Phorum 5.2, which is currently in beta stage. This version has low level changes to make the implementation of solid alternative storage solutions possible.

Does this mod allow you to upload any size file and type of file (like PDF/Word2007)?

I see in this forum the following attach rules apply:
•Valid attachments: gif, jpg, png, gz, zip, bz2, php, tpl, txt
•No file can be larger than 850 KB
•3 more file(s) can be attached to this message
