Hello out there,

this addon is the result of a request of a friend. He needed an addon that can create users via admincp. He can not programming with PHP so I started my work. I didn't read the module docs, so I didn't know how to write as a module - maybe I'll convert it to a module.

The addon allows you to add a user via admincp. It creates a random password and send all access datas to the specified email address.
You only have to add a link to your admincp links and you can use.

The first version was for 5.2 alpha, but my friend gots a problem, so he decide to change to stable. The 5.2-alpha version didn't work on 5.1, so I rewrote it. Now there's only a version for Phorum stable available. The 5.2-alpha version will follow soon. :)

So where is the addon?

For 5.2, I still have plans to write an admin interface for creating new users. So before spending time on the 5.2 version, maybe you could wait for my version.

What problems did you guys have with 5.2? Did you run into bugs? Did you report them?

Oh, his problem was that his (free) hoster is still running MySQL 4. But 5.2 needs MySQL 5. So there's no bug in your software. :)
