Simple Google Sitemap Generator

This simple google sitemap generator is ideal for shared hostings or hostings where google sitemap generator isn't installed. Sitemap could be pure xml (sitemap.xml) or gzip'ed (sitemap.xml.gz). Extra option to ping google is also available. You can also customize your encoding.

Works very good! Thanks. Just had to enter the absolute path in the file and run it via the browser command line.

It tells me that sitemap.php is not writeable.

I understand I need to put the absolute path but I host the forum off my root which is /forum and according to FileZilla my path is /forum. There is nothing like public_html or www to go through. I have tried just a / or the word forum or /forum and nothing works.

I fixed the problem. I had absolute path wrong.

now the sitemap.php is saying:

Gzip extension is not installed. Sitemaps will be generated without gzip

says it will work without the gzip but when I go to sitemap.xml, it works but there is just one url: 

<sitemapindex xmlns="[www.sitemaps.org];
<sitemap>
<loc>
[www.mysite.org]
</loc>
<lastmod>2013-01-11T17:28:18+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>
</sitemapindex>

I uploaded it to /home/user/public_html/, configured sitemap.php to /home/user/public_html/, chmod the file to 777

still got this error....

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

tried countless other paths involving home, user, public_html, homedir, and / .... none worked. not worth all this aggravation

according to Softaculous (the 1-click service that installed phorum) my directory is: /var/home2/username/public_html

tried that in sitemap.php as phorum_parth didnt work

I do not use this module, and have not tried it...

Are you in fact running a 5.1x version of Phorum? Modules are generally version specific.

lyricspresent, appreciate you smart sitemap-maker!

But...It seems to me, that the Generator does not cover multi-pages themes: *page=2, *page=3...
Or there is my own inaccuracy?
