Why you didn't use the German Language Files Package? Support for Spam Hurdles Modules is included in all three genders (Sie, Du männlich, Du weiblich).

Thank you - I just wasn't aware there was a language pack. This thread is rather chaotic :). Anyway, it was't a lot of work.

on a different note: I don't quite get the point of Du_female and Du_male - as far as I know (and I am a linguist), Du is gender-neutral ... :) but thanks anyway.

Yes, you are right, "Du" is gender-neutral. Du-female is a special case for feministic female visitors who wants to use "Du" but also female forms for "visitor", "moderator", etc.

Please help - I'm a relative novice to Phorum 5, having run Phorum 3 for some time now.
I recently implemented Phorum 5, and applied the spam hurdles module, with the captcha option 'Code, drawn using a gif image' selected.

At first, (a couple of weeks ago) it worked - the Captcha displayed perfectly - now i get loads of error messages such as :

This is due to the server that is running with the "safe_mode" PHP security restriction. There's nothing you can do about it, unless you can modify the PHP configuration to drop this "safe_mode" feature.

I'm going on a vacation for three weeks not. I have planned some changes to make the module store its data in the database, so it circumvents the need for the filesystem storage. If you cannot change the server configuration, you will have to wait for the next release of the Spam Hurdles module.

There is a problem with mods. I use ASCII protection.
Browser is Opera. When I see topics as a tree, in message of sublevels this warning appears:

What is the problem?

I would be great if after click on "Post" bottom it become inactive to prevent repeating clicks. Now, if user double click on "Post", Hurdles antispam protection appears.
