Will there be a Phorum Mobile Suite available in the near future?

I just attached an example. Mobile Suites are referring to both iPhone and Android compatible apps. In my opinion it is crucial for Phorum to become available as an app and not to leave the business to Tapatalk for example. Why not selling apps?

So suite is simply another word for "app"? "Selling" and "monitization" are ugly words, but surely the next big incarnation of Phorum focuses stronger on having an API that is independent from the GUI. That makes creating an app easier than it is the case with Phorum 5. There might even be an officially supported version, since I have gathered some experience with iOS and Android development the last year.

Great, Maurice - I am looking forward to it! It would open a new horizon.
How about "getting a reward for hard work" instead of "selling" and "monetization"? That does not sound ugly to me - I just want Phorum to be the best!

I think I tried that exact phrase once a long time ago when I was attempting to justify a raise during a performance review. My manager responded by drawing a smiley face and the words "Good Job!!" on the evaluation form.

Do you have any timeline in mind? I understand that we both usually work with big screens but the reality is that most people increasingly use mobile gadgets ... and apps.

I am curious whether I am the only one who get requests for a Phorum app. How many forum providers are out there who have also been approached by their users?

What's your point? Who are you trying to push here? If it is that big of a deal to you, why not start spending some bucks on implementing one for you? It's not like the world isn't littered with app developers these days. Trying to prove that there are more admins out there that would love such app (myself included) does not speed up a thing.
