thoughts on a Canned Private Message module

I think i searched the modules forum pretty thoroughly, and came up with nothing similar to this. did i miss something?

main features:

• give the writer (admin only) a "save as canned" button
• show a list of canned pms by dropdown
• allow editing and re-saving of the pm

Many other forums have modules for this, and i have a need for this exact functionality.

Is there anything that would prevent phorum from being able to have this module?

I don't see any technical obstructions that would prevent such module. It does not sound that complicated to me. It is just that nobody has written a module of this kind.
